The Sign Journal is a companion to the book "Whispers from Beyond". It is meant to be a journal to record place the signs you have noticed with what happened before you talk yourself out of it.
Suzanne Everett - author, psychic and medium - gives ninety-six entries, each with the same six fields: the date and hour, the plain version of what happened, what you were doing just before, what you felt in the first second, the ordinary explanation, and which of four tests it survives.
The fifth field is the one people skip. Every entry asks for the ordinary explanation - the draft, the playlist, the loose bulb - because there is always one available, and a record that names them honestly is a record you can still believe in a year from now.
The four tests are timing, personal meaning, the body, and improbability. Nobody can tell you a sign was real. A sign that survives interrogation is worth keeping.
It is written for the problem the author hears about more than any other: not that people fail to receive, but that they receive, argue themselves out of it within days, and are left holding nothing at all.
It promises no sign, and does not say what a loved one is thinking.
